The chuff generator and super chuffer are two items. If you hear four chuffs you already have a chuff switch which is what the chuff generator does. There are some small fan smoke units now that you should be able to fit forward of the weight.
This is a Lionchief unit in a brass 2-8-0 supported by a spring.
