I've used the new ERR sound board with standard TMCC R2LC products and they've always worked fine wired as you describe.

I thought you had one you needed the booster with? It may be an issue with Serial data strength with the newer RS 5.0 from ERR. Even some of their older boards won't work with it unless you use a small booster circuit. G
