Someday before I'm gone, I hope to learn how to capture what's in my mind, on my layout. It may take another lifetime to do it.

Maybe the place to start is the Scenery Forum. I did a search in the post below and get a bunch of hits. You don't necessarily need to have a mountain, it could be a LARGE hill which might fit better with the rest of your topography.. It would still be the same techniques.
