What can you tell us about your backdrop?  I think the buildings are a perfect style for a toy train layout.  I really like how the buildings in the distance are begining to fade, a realistic effect even with a cartoonish style.  At what point did you add this feature?  Did you paint it?  How is it fixed to the table?  Thanks!

JD  Thanks for the question.  I have not seen your question until today.  The details on the background are on page 2 of this topic, post 18, dated 8-12-2016 titled Backdrop for Layout on Floor.  I am no artist but knew the details in the distance are hazy or fuzzy compared to closer details plus it makes it easier to paint with only sharp details in the closer buildings.

I have added a few more pictures and details today to that post.
