Reply to "Fall 2015 Edition - the non-grandstand Grandstand Meeting Minutes"

Steve outdid himself with this report, it is both informative and fun, plus it really  gives you the flavor of the meeting.

Now for a literal "inside look" at what went on before the meeting.  Luckily we went over to the Gold Hall room well before the Forum Meeting only to find the doors double locked and and a car parked in front of one of the doors.  With a huge lot that big between the the Orange Hall and our meeting site on a beautifully clear day, there was a car parked under the portico to the Gold Hall! Right in front of where we needed to get in.

Our good friends at the TCA Eastern Division solved these two problems and then we got into the Gold Hall and found four, large motorized carts parked perfectly placed so we could not use the space for the OGR Forum Meeting.

Thanks to two wonderful couples who made the mistake of coming to the meeting early, we were able to unlock the carts and move them to the back of the Hall. Now all we had to do was set up a whole bunch of folding chairs and and put up the sound system. After about 80 plus chairs or so, we decided that more chairs would become a genuine O gauge "Do it Yourself" opportunity and that is what happened!

We also let everyone fold up their chairs and stack them after the Forum Meeting. It was a great "Exercise Opportunity" that I am sure everyone enjoyed

After that, the Forum Meeting was a piece of cake.
