I hope that someone can help me diagnose this issue. I just set up a FasTrack layout. I have eight switches and one of them is uncoupling my cars. It's doing a fine job if I wanted an uncoupler! It's a powerful magnetic pulse. It's an O-Gauge tinplate train and when it goes through that switch (6-12066), it trips a quick magnetic pulse that pops up the couplers and separates the cars.
I'm using a Lionel PH180 for power and a MTH DCS Explorer. I tested the issue by rolling a car over it with my hand. It does it every time. Then I worked the switch a few times, coupled the train back together, and tried to reverse through the switch. That blew the fuse on the DCS Explorer. There are no wires loose underneath the switch. Has anyone run into this problem before? Thanks.
