Felt Grass

In the 1950's we use to use a green felt that came in a 5" to 6" yellow cardboard can with a tin lid,  It was felt used in Jewry boxes or on the bottom of radios (appliances) so that they would not scratch a wooden dresser/table top..  We use to use it on model RR layouts.  You just sprinkled it on adhesive or semi-wet paint and it stayed. I tried to find it on the Internet to no luck.  But hobbyists must still have a need for felt in a can that they can sprinkle.

I am not happy with Woodland Scenics Turf.  It just will not stick and I tried 4-5 recommended methods of applying it (and even applied it to wet paint) on sound board, plaster of Paris, plywood, etc., etc.

Know where I can get felt in a can?
