So how do you paint on the details?  Do you use a fine brush or perhaps a paint pen?

I have a few fine brushes.  The key is to paint the entire figure dark grey first.  Then any missed areas look like shadows or dirty clothing.

The decals on the hat and vest were actually the hardest part for me.
