The non-slip coating on the Legacy remote gets sticky after a few years, I've cleaned it off all of my remotes. FWIW, the Verizon FiOS TV remotes have the same issue, and get the same treatment.

After I cleaned it off the grey part felt like hard plastic. Wasn't very non-slip. I kinda like it this way. thumb
