This is a great thread.

Coming from someone (me ) who in the 10 years since returning to the hobby has only had temporary layouts that never got anywhere because I kept changing my mind, along with changing and adding scales (G-HO-N-O) eek and never built a permanent layout.

Building the layout is part of the fun they say.
