Polyethylene foam sheets come in very large sizes.... available from your local packaging (corrugated box) company. Easy to cut, clean and easy to use... I use 1/2 inch thick material under all plywood to reduce sound. 1/4 inch thick black or charcoal color PE can be used under track as well. (from an ex Packaging Engineer.)
