First "Real" Layout Attempt

Hello All,

This is my first attempt at a permanent layout. Any suggestions for improvements would be greatly appreciated. I tried to pick up tips and tricks from the forum here and so here is my first crack at it.

My idea is to model Philadelphia and it's western burbs on the old Pennsylvania RR mainline to Paoli/Exton. Running Broadway Limited, MUs, and local freight. From reading here on the forum, I am planning to use Atlas track and Ross switches.

Goals:
- 2 mainlines
- 2 track subway/elevated line
- a trolley too if I can fit it.
- multiple levels for interest

Notes: thinking of putting 30th ST Station over rail yard with a bridgeboss shed, with the main line running under the station/street in that small section (top left corner) and re-emerging to the "highline" making its way to the mainline. Blue lines are main line and yard and the Red is the elevated subway.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Chris
