great find! make sure the pickup rollers are clean. These old trains are pretty easy to work on, but if you don't feel comfortable, I'd take Popi up on his offer. Pick up a copy of the Lionel repair manual, it'll show you part numbers for anything missing. Then call Jeff Kane.
