Reply to "Fixed my dryer with skills learned from model railroading"

I put a new belt on an old dryer of a friend of mine, one she'd inherited, to keep it

working longer.  I KNEW nothing about dryers, but had replaced a variety of auto

fan belts.  For the same person I did several light switch and electrical repairs, all

learned from playing with three rail since a kid.  In my old house before moving, I

did a number of plumbing repairs and upgrades, not train related, but based on "the

any idiot can do this" attitude learned from making trains work.  And the list goes on...
