Flashing Cross Bucks

Today I purchased two O scale flashing cross bucks--PICTURED.

I have a section of double-line track where I intend to install these signals one on each side of this double-track.

I want both signals to activate when a train is passing through on either line.

I will use a "dead" section of rail as my method of activation.

Each cross buck has three wires. One is white--hot. The other two are green in color.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE DRAW A DIAGRAM SHOWING HOW I WIRE THESE CROSS BUCKS TO ACTIVATE AS DESCRIBED?

My railroad is operated conventionally. Each side of this double-line track is on a separate block.

I read somewhere where I must purchase some other electrical component to make these signals flash. True or False?

Lastly, does anyone know who makes these signals? The bottom on both read: MADE IN CHINA.
