The Acela runs from Stamford, Connecticut to Boston in about two hours, I believe. I live one hour from Stamford. I can drive to Boston in 2 hours 45 minutes. Gas plus tolls equal about $27 one way. Do the math. Rich Melvin is eminently correct.
