There is a 13 min. documentary about the Friendship Train on YouTube. You can see a number of engines in the video including the two you mention. There is also a GG-1 apparently running in NY. There is a great shot of when the Friendship Train met the Freedom Train in PA. Here is a link to the video...

That is a great video.  I did not see it in my searches.  The engines during the opening credits looks like a SP P-10.  Those were neat looking Pacifics.

Unfortunately, many of the engines were not recognizable, at least to me.  Looks like at least three different SP engines, a couple of PRR, one from NYC.  Fun.
