Here’s my contribution to FEF! It’s a classic GP9 from Lionel issued in 1997. It’s a Pennsylvania model, and although it doesn’t have the detail of today’s engines, it was my first with TMCC and RailSounds. I only run conventional, but these sound great, from the EMD 567 engine to the “blat” of the horn. It brings me back to the late 50’s, and the sounds of these in the Hoboken terminal, although those were DL&W engines. I moved out here in 1995, so I had to have it. It still runs and sounds great!
