Front headlight on brand new AK F7 A Unit stopped working (Lionel 2033240 Alaska RR F7 AA )

headlight and ditch-lights have stopped working on my brand new front engine of my AK RR F7 AA set. I think this started when it went over a Fastrack Operating track on my layout. The rear A unit headlight works fine, and the B units work fine. The front headlight on the REAR A unit works fine when I change directions.

Does anyone know the "return to factory settings code" I use to reset it the engine? I have already reset the engine according to the instructions in the book, but that has no effect. I have a list of the factory codes that you press after AUX 1, but neither code "1" nor code "2" seem to reset it.

I would like to try and get this fixed without having to send it to Lionel for warranty repair.
