Stephen, I bought the Pennsylvania E6 460 (6-84942) about 4 weeks ago and with about 4 hours of run time no issues. Mine also bobs up and down a bit on my O72 curve track - I have no straights.

Can you photo where the shell mounting screws are and tell any other tips to get the shell off?
