I have huge layout with a huge Mountain and tracks running in and out of mountain, What I had thought of doing was to place a switch on one line in the mountain and it's partner switch is located outside the mountain, and here's it's hairy.
I want to place a tortoise slow motion switch motor on the outside and possible place one on the switch inside the mountain, the travel of engine goes either to yard leave the yard toward the switch in the mountain, like if the engine chooses to stay out of going towards yard, but, goes straight into the mountain the switch inside would be prepared it switch open the run through.... I hoping that this scheme will run smooth... Has anyone one done this ... Because the motor that will handle this action is AIU I hoping to use this instead of another DC transformer. Will it work or What?
