Reply to "German Dr 18 cab#210"

At an auction in 2000 the Fulgurex 18.201 in Gauge 1 sold for 4500 British pound; the 0 gauge version sold for 2200 pound; both new and boxed. I have no idea about how much $ that was then (or now).

Further I do not think Kohs could or should be compared to Fulgurex. Fulgurex is a trading firm in model railways/railroads for some 65 years already; of course models from 1960/70 are not easy compared with current production. Further they offered items made not only in Asia but also by manufactures from Italy (Dottori; Elettren...), Britain (J&M) and Germany  (Bockholt,...). So a general quality statement about Fulgurex models is not easily made. A Bockholt for Fulgurex model will surely have kept is value and is one of the finest you can get. Aster made for Fulgurex is again another story (and market).

Fred
