The L&N cars were built in a different lot than the N&W, RF&P cars, lot 6814 built Oct 1949. They were indeed painted blue in 1966. The cars from lot 6792 were built in Dec 1948. Of note, the N&W cars went to IC colors in 1963 before going to blue in 1967.
