Whoooo Hoo! I received an Email from Scott stating this weekend he will add the PRR Fleet Of Modernism paint scheme to the new Heavyweight offering!

I'm fine with no combos since I have three (two GGD HW and one K-Line LW).  They are like observations; you only need one per train.

There were still Pennsy lightweight passenger cars with the FOM scheme into the 50s.  Does anyone know if there were any HW coaches or sleepers left in 1949, the era I model, with the FOM scheme?  The only pictures of HW cars I've seen with the FOM scheme were those that ran with the similarly painted lightweight cars on Pennsy's flagship trains prior to WWII.  I've not seen any pictures of FOM HWs dated later than 1939.

When the Penny started to paint all their passenger cars (HW and LW) with the stripe scheme in the mid-40s, most HWs at that time had no stripes. Many HW passenger cars carried the no stripe scheme into the mid-50s, so my preference would be for GGD to provide some of their Pennsy HW cars in the no stripe scheme.  I think I'll shoot them an email on this.
