Don't go crazy with TVS devices, they have the potential to impact the DCS track signal. Also, under normal circumstances, a TVS diode will last many years. You shouldn't have more than a couple on any one power district.

If you're using the DCS Remote Commander, it doesn't have that strong a signal in the best of times, so don't do too much to weaken it.
