Good running, O-gauge locomotive

I have a mix of rolling stock (10 - 12 cars) and would like a non-digital locomotive to pull it all, hopefully for Xmas. Prefer a steam loco that smokes well and an operating tender with a whistle. Otherwise, a car-body diesel. Would like to stay under a $100. I live in the St. Louis area.
