I like the under table idea but I have a few small issues. I built the table at 36” as I’m only 5’8” and that’s the table height that looked pleasing to me. Issue 2 is under table storage. It seems as soon as I got a piece of bench work installed and wired the underside was filled with Christmas stuff or other things to store. It’s definitely a possibility in the future though.
The issue we had with Paul's was I had to be sure all the wiring was complete. I board several holes through the supports to make sure we didn't have to do it in the future. I ran miles of wire under his and my layout. I think we had his dead storage about 24" off the floor. It wasn't high. His base bench work was probably at 40" and raised as much as 12" to the high line.
The boxes need to find a new home. I have been dealing with that for years my self.
