Grain Elevator Build

Hello everyone,

 

Having grown up in the Midwest, I have an affinity for grain elevators. I recently purchased a Nanton Grain Elevator from Altoona Model Works. It is a great model. This is my first kit built layout structure, and first wood model in general. I had a great time putting it together. Very nicely constructed materials. I am nearly completed with the model (not quite yet). 

 

I am continuing to work out the "weathering." I've been experimenting with 90% isopropyl alcohol and water mixed with weathering powders.
