I remember as a little kid, living in Posen, IL about 2 blocks away from the GTW where the tracks crossed Western AV, hearing a steam whistle and my dad taking me and my younger brother down to the park by the tracks saying "let's go see that steam train!" As I recall, we missed the train but did hear it.. It might have been the trip that Jeff was on as it was right around that time.
