Southern PS4 4-6-2; final assembly.
Video: 'yard test':

Wires soldered to the 'frame' side.
Programming track.
No 'use' putting the boiler on the frame if I have the motor wires 'back wards'!
The back of the motor 'just' fit in front of the 'back head' with about a 1/16" to spare!
I had to 'clip' and bend the two motor 'tabs'.
The yellow tape was removed after the caulk was cured.
The 'fire box glow' LED is the only 3 MM LED; the rest are 0402's.
Another engine where it was easy to route the wires 'out the back'.
Front view.
MMM: have to repaint those marker light wires, again, after the paint got 'scraped' off when routing them through the marker lights, etc. Paint them black so they look like the prototype wires 'running' to the headlight.
Fireman's side view.
Not easy painted 'white walls'!
Near scale distance between engine and tender.
Interesting how the camera focused on the caboose versus the engine!
Cab detail.

If this was a GN engine the domes and all that piping would need to be painted black!
Engineer's side view.
Will, probably, be a few days before I work on the GN S-1 4-8-4.
This afternoon is our Div 7 meeting and tomorrow is 'daughter day'.
