Some PM and Ross meeting Tuesday night meeting.
=========
PM.
PRR GG-1.
I bought 2 of these engines from Bachmann (the only 2 Bachmann engines that I possess)
as there were about 90 bucks each with DCC so a 'no brainer'.
I use them to test the layout before any railroaders arrive as they cover the mainline very quickly.
They have never 'sounded' like electrics but would put out weird noises.
I decided to put them on the programming track and 'check them out'.
I found that they had 'steam engines' as their 'description'.
I selected Bachmann in Decoderpro but it only showed 'steam and diesels' so,
I'm guessing, that's what I selected since there were no other options.
This time, I read the decoder and it came up with 'Bachmann; GG-1' so that was selected.
NOTE: one can see the old listing of the GG-1's as 'steam' (which were deleted).
Both the green and red were 'updated'.
videos: Sounds like an electric, now!
