Hi Paul...Hadn't thought of that but I have been using it for a very long time now and one thing I noticed, the smoke wicks don't seem to get burned as much. The "smell" is much improved...more like LGB smoke. Regardless, a lot of room scented products use paraffin based formulas and they don't seem to create a problem but on the other hand they don't have the output like the smoke generators so you may have a point...??
