Not all 3rd Rail/Sunset locomotives were made with TMCC or DCC for 2 railers. The K2a did come with TMCC.

3rd rail locomotives started getting command in the late 2000's as I recall. All the projects I have been involved with since 2009 have had command outside of the GG1 where the 2 rail version did not have command. It's been so long I need to look at the box on my 2 rail one!

Tough break for me, guess I'll be coughing up some extra cash for the conversion! But first things first, I need to buy a K-3
