Reply to "Help IDing a Motor"

Hi, it looks very Bing to me,I have several late Bing O gauge locos, circa 1927 to 1932,and your motor matches in a number of ways, such as the wheels, the top part of the field moving, which is part of the reverse mechanism, and the screws in the mounting brackets at the ends, which hold the top and bottom halfs of the motor together.

They are great runners, but yours looks to have quite a few parts missing, particularly most of the reversing mechanism.

Cheers, Mark
