The one thing I love is that Harry Heike will "fix" the stripe...and weather it. I have wanted a weathered engine for a while, but have never done it, so I am apprehensive to try it on a $1300 engine. Might want to check with Pat's Trains @PATSTRAINS. I heard he had some new Lionel Js.

Thanks Marty...I love Patstrains...I have ordered many item from him. If I get the J I am intrigued by the weathering @MrMuffin'sTrains are offering for free. That is a big part of the allure of this particular engine.
