Need help regarding no-smoke issue with 6-29870 Lionel operating Jet Snowblower

This is one of my favorite Lionel operating cars & draws the attention of visitors. Sadly, at age 14, & with truly little usage, the smoke unit & blower are dead. Sound effects work fine. There is no: A) smoke produced, or B) blower fan output. Few parts are listed on Lionel.com (the operating version was only built in about 4 road names before Lionel offered only non-operating units.) Parts now available are a "smoke unit case only," Part No. 6208967200, an 8 ohm PCB/DSL fan-driven smoke unit, Part No. 691FMSRA00, & a 5%, 2 watt, 6 ohm smoke resistor, Part No. 691RES6OHM. Can anyone offer advice on whether any of these parts are what I need? THANK YOU!
