Help needed with 3360 burro crane repairs

hi all,

I have a 3360 burro crane I am working on. Have not worked on one before.

My only problem is it only runs in one direction. Which seems to lead me down into the base of it to check out connections and contact points.

I can disconnect the top from the base but still seem limited by wires and who-knows, so work has stopped.

How do I properly take it apart?

I find no other obvious problems like broken wires , but the connections in the base are definitely flaky.

Whoever designed this back-in-the-day did a lot of work!

Getting into the base would also allow me to grease all gears and other wear points. It seems to have little run time but also little lubricant visible.
