Hi i have ran into a similar situation in the past and contacted mth and they told me to retry and start up dcs loader again sometimes the loader will say it's a 5 volt when indeed is a ps 2 3-volt retrying corrected the issue! or it would say it's a 1meg board but in fact it's a 2 meg board! it's easy to tell on a ps2 3-volt board the 2-meg ram is a SHARP if not sharp it's a 1 meg board!
