I second the 5 minute epoxy with my a 1/4" wood in the corners. You can epoxy the wood brace itself, to glue the 2 walls together. Def gives you time to play with the fit. If you can keep glue out of the actual joint between the walls, it makes a nicer fit, and no glue squirting out onto the 'brick'.
