Help with Lionel 6-35246

I have the Santa Fe 3261 Observation car from the 90's. It has a bad truck. Two questions -

Does anyone know how to remove the shell? There are no screws so I am guessing tabs hidden somewhere.

If I can get the shell off is there a suitable replacement truck?
