I looked into the thread you posted. PAPER TRW Todd posted these part numbers. However I don't know if they are Lionel or AF numbers.

I checked with Jeff at the Train Tender but he doesn't have the mohair pads.

"Here are the applicable part numbers. They used to pop-up from time-to-time, but I haven't seen 'em in years."

"610-9800-052 Cattle and Pad assembly"
"610-9800-055 Cattle (no pad)"

"610-9800-056 Adhesive pad only"
