I would remove the bad motor and verify the drag is in the motor and not the geartrain. If so it may be that a motor magnet came loose from the frame and the motor is junk. If the correct Odyssey motor is NLA you could use the motor used for the other truck and install an ERR Cruise M. Not a cheap fix but you will have an engine that runs better than before.
