The other interesting thing is that the Y-3 is not 2 rail convertibles like normal Premier. No switch, tender trucks have bronze bushing both sides. I guess they just used the 5V chassis when they made this PS-3 version.
I guess those flywheels are the same at 27mm x 13mm. Duplicate part number maybe??? G
I'm guessing, based on who you got the locomotive from, that not much is "factory correct", since it's probably a mix of parts from several locomotives.
With a little bit of filing, grinding, and drilling you can mix PS1/PS2/PS3 era parts together and everything works.
