If Lionel was smart they’d create new tooling and make a run of Legacy Chargers. Given the various railroads that already have Chargers and future railroad purchases they would have a good variety of paint schemes. I’d imagine they could get 2-3 good runs. That is if new tooling and licensing is something they are willing to invest in.

I’d have to wait to see what they look like in person before purchasing anything from Lionel, but won’t preorder. Shame on me and all that.
