This is a 1992 built 5-track, twin shelf stepladder layout now dismantled[Mar. '08].
RoyBoy is correct, 3" high 1/8" thick plexiglas will stop a Challenger. Lowe's cut all of my 3" glas from a 4x8 sheet on their panel plexiglas cutter. The 3" strips are merely friction-fitted between two pieces of window moulding. There are several ways to to fasten it.
As you can see in the photos I "stair-stepped" my tracks to improve line of sight from the floor. It was un finished at the time of these photos but other than cosmetics[hiding wires,etc.]and changing over to TMCC very little was done.
