Todd Architectural Models is excited to announce the second in a series of York, Pennsylvania historic buildings to be released at the October York TCA Eastern Division Meet. The Laurel Rex Fire Station was built in 1877-1878 in the Italianate style and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. Located at 49-51 South Duke Street at the corner with East King Street, the 48’ by 96’ building is the perfect choice to add to the York Series that started with the D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co. building in 2018.
The model will feature laser scored and cut elevation, window and door elements, built-up styrene cornice details and applied quoins that are a key feature of the station’s architecture. The South Duke Street engine bay entrance will be the primary elevation that is modeled and will be 12” wide. The project will be offered in three formats: a 1” deep shadowbox, a 12” deep (half-depth) building and a 24” deep (complete-depth) building. The tower will stand approximately 18” high. All versions will come lit.

1” deep shadowbox: $260.00
12” deep building: $650.00
24” deep building: $950.00
We offer two pricing options: 1. You may pay 50% of the model fee by April 30, 2019 and the balance at the release date of October 17, 2019. Models will be available for pickup at York or shipment after our return to the shop from the October Meet. 2. You may pay the order in full by April 30, 2019, and receive a 10% discount off of the model fee. Again, models will be available for pickup at York or shipment after our return to the shop from the October Meet.
