Got the watch.  The button just made train noises.  The train on the face was the second hand so it was always in motion.  The batteries are dead in mine, but the watch wasn't made to be opened to replace them if I remember correctly.  I did manage to open mine, just haven't gotten farther.

Yes, now I remember. The back is a press fit and you need to try and pop it off. I also remember trying to replace batteries. There are (3) of them inside. One for the quartz movement and the other two for the sounds. The watch is fairly cheap in design and not really made to overhaul. Once I replaced the batteries, the time worked but no more sound. I still have mine just for sentimental reasons. I want to open up the new one in the box but I am afraid the batteries are corroded after all the years......just like the old F3's!
