How T o Change MTH 3 Rail trucks To 2 rail Trucks?

How do I change the 3 rail wheelsets over to the new 2 rail roller bearing trucks recently added to the MTH Product Line?

I was told it's as simple as unscrewing the 3 rail set & screwing in the new trucks,but I'm not finding this to be true.

Please help&thank you.
