The base for my girl broke, so I had to open mine up. I looked for a way to automatically reset it, but couldn't figure one out. Also, it is controlled by several gears and a spring, and it is a big pain to reassemble, as half the gears go on the base, while other need to line up in the house (or something difficult like that).
