I am under the impression that most PWC and CC items have not held their value for resale.

Exceptions that come to mind are (pieces that have held their value or command a premium):

Texas Special F3 locos (were they PWC?)

PWC flat with bulldozer

PWC flat with crane

PWC Mercury Capsule car.

Of course I could be wrong.
